Samba!!!
Led by professional percussionist Mitch Oldham, the Handmade Samba Brigade was founded in early 2009 to be the house band of the Hebden Bridge Handmade Parade. The band now plays regularly in regional community events and celebrations.
New members are always welcome (age 14 and up) and no experience is necessary! Come along to the fortnightly two-hour Brazilian samba-style percussion sessions at Wainsgate Chapel, Wainsgate Lane, Old Town, or to the special pre-parade sessions (new members welcome then too). The sessions cost just £3.
